1. Introduction

Repair Connect Ltd (“Repair Connect”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) operates a platform that connects individuals seeking vehicle bodywork and alloy wheel repairs (“you” or “Client”) with carefully selected, independent repair service providers (“Repairers”). Our platform enables you to request, receive quotes for, and book repair services from trusted professionals. Repair Connect acts solely as an agent for the Client in identifying suitable Repairers and facilitating the formation of a contract between the Client and the Repairer. The actual provision of repair services and associated responsibility lies with the individual Repairer. By using the Repair Connect platform (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which govern your access to and use of the Platform. Please read them carefully.

2. Definitions

“Repair Services”: Any vehicle repair work, including labour and parts, performed by a Repairer.“Booking Request”: A request submitted via the Repair Connect platform to obtain a quote for Repair Services.“Booking”: A confirmed agreement between the Client and the Repairer for the provision of Repair Services.“Charges”: The total amount payable for the Repair Services, including parts and labour.“Repairer”: An independent provider of vehicle repair services listed in our network.“Repair Connect Services”: Services provided by Repair Connect, including sourcing a Repairer, relaying quotes, facilitating the booking process, and collecting payments on behalf of the Repairer.

3. Lifetime Warranty on Repairs

All Repair Services arranged through Repair Connect come with a lifetime warranty on workmanship and parts, provided directly by the Repairer.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.The maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the amount paid for the Repair Service.Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage caused by external impacts, improper care, or subsequent damage. Cracks in paint caused by future impact are excluded. However, issues such as peeling or fading paint resulting from faulty workmanship are covered.The warranty becomes void if any third party performs work on the affected area after the original repair.

4. Role of Repair Connect

Repair Connect’s role is limited to facilitating the connection between Clients and Repairers. We:

Are not the provider of Repair Services and do not inspect or supervise the work. Do not employ the Repairers and are not responsible for their actions, omissions, or service outcomes.Will not be held liable for any loss or damage resulting from the services provided by a Repairer.

5. Contract Formation & Payment

When you accept a quote provided via Repair Connect, you:

Authorise us to act as your agent in engaging a Repairer and processing payment. Agree to pay the Charges as outlined in the quote. Authorise us to securely store your payment details and process payment upon completion of the repair.

Your Booking is confirmed when a Repairer accepts the job. Repair Connect will provide you with the Repairer’s contact details and facilitate scheduling. Payments may be made via credit/debit card, or bank transfer.

6. Our Responsibilities

We commit to:

Proactively keep you informed about your Booking status and any updates or delays. Use reasonable efforts to match you with a Repairer as close to your location.

In the rare event that a Repairer identifies additional damage not visible in photos, the original Booking may be cancelled, and your booking fee refunded in full.

7. Cancellations, Cooling-off & Client Responsibilities

Cooling-off & Cancellations

You have a 14-day cooling-off period after booking (if the repair has not taken place).Cancellation Fees:After the cooling-off period: 20% of the Booking price.Within 24 hours of the scheduled repair: 50% of the Booking price.Rescheduling without cancellation: A new booking fee will apply. Booking fees are non-refundable once the Repair Connect Services have started (including quote acceptance and repair scheduling).

Client Responsibilities

Ensure suitable access and parking for the Repairer’s vehicle if a mobile repairer is arranged. Provide access to a standard mains power supply if a mobile repairer is arranged. If a mobile repairer is arranged but repairs cannot proceed due to site conditions (e.g., no power, insufficient access), the Booking will be cancelled, and the fees will apply. Alternatively, suitable arrangements can be made between Repair Connect and the Client for alternative repair options.

8. Payment Terms

Full payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the repair unless you notify us of any issue. Unpaid invoices may be collected using the stored payment method. Late payments may incur interest (8% above Bank of England base rate) and a recovery fee of £100.

9. Termination

Repair Connect reserves the right to cancel a Booking or suspend access to the Platform at any time, including in cases of non-payment or breach of these terms.

10. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between you and a Repairer, please contact Repair Connect in the first instance. We will assist in facilitating a fair resolution wherever possible.

11. Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your data. Use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, it will not affect the rest of the Terms. These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and Repair Connect. Notices or updates will be issued via email. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations at any time.

All content and intellectual property related to Repair Connect and the Platform remain our property or are used under license.
